Engaging 15 – 19 Year Olds

Elizabeth15 –19 Year Olds: Engage, Connect, Create

A Conference for TAFE NSW and School staff and teachers

When 26-27 April 2006

Where The Novotel, Brighton-Le-Sands (Sydney)

This is an important event for those within TAFE NSW interested in the education and training needs of 15 – 19 year olds, particularly teachers and Institute managers. It will provide some practical suggestions for engaging with the increasing cohort of 15 – 19 years olds in TAFE.

The conference program includes nationally recognised keynote speakers. There will be workshops showcasing examples of innovative practice for 15-19 year olds in schools and TAFE NSW, including joint school/TAFE and community programs.

Key note speakers include:

Reduced conference rates are available for teams from schools and/or TAFE colleges/campuses.

Additional information and registration details will be available on the Department’s intranet and distributed to schools and TAFE NSW colleges/campuses early this semester.
