Free Flexible Learning Toolbox Workshops
Toolbox Introduction and Customisation Workshops
Plaza Suite (level 2), The Oaks, 38 College St, Darlinghurst
Wednesday 12th December 2007, 12:30pm to 4:30pm
Flexible Learning Toolboxes are inexpensive learning resources that may be altered and copied by an RTO for their students and staff. Toolboxes are produced under the management of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (which is funded by the Federal, State and Territory governments).
Each Toolbox addresses a particular Training Package and contains resources for units of competence of one or more qualifications. They are initially distributed to you on CD but may be implemented in a number of media formats for the student.
A Flexible Learning Toolbox Introduction & Customisation Workshop will be held in the “Plaza Suite” (Level 2), The Oaks, 38 College St, Darlinghurst on:
- Wednesday 12th December, 2007, 12:30pm to 4:30pm
You and your work colleagues are invited to attend this workshop at no cost.
Each workshop will comprise two sessions:
Part A:
During the first 2.5 hours of this activity we will cover the following aspects of Toolbox implementation:
- Introduction to the Australian Flexible Learning Framework and Toolboxes.
- What's included with the Toolbox CD?
- The Toolbox CD structure.
- How can the CD learning content be implemented (individual PCs or networks)?
- Licence issues.
- Customisation issues and techniques.
Part B:
In the final hour you will have the opportunity to try what you have learned in Part A on your computer. It’s hands-on and requires you to bring along a laptop*.
