Retaining 15-19 Year Olds Conference 2007
A conference for teachers, executives and leaders in TAFE Institutes and Schools across NSW.

This Conference will be held at the Novotel Brighton Beach in Sydney and will focus on learning needs and teaching strategies for the retention, engagement and participation of 15-19 year old students in education and training. This conference follows the success of the 2006 15-19 Year Olds Conference.
Keynote addresses will be delivered by leading academics and practitioners in the field. There will also be a broad variety of workshops reflecting a range of issues relating to the education of 15-19 year olds including:
- current educational research and
- effective classroom strategies.
Expressions of interest (EOI) to conduct workshops have been called for from all TAFE Institutes and schools.
It is anticipated that online registrations will open in early May.
Further information will be distributed to schools, Institutes and regional and state offices at that time.
