This premier teaching and learning conference for TAFE NSW, promises fresh insights into VET directions and the critical areas of partnering and entrepreneurship in VET, workplace learning and Recognition of Prior Learning.

powerhouse 2007 cartoonThe Learning Powerhouse 2007 is targeted at all TAFE NSW teachers, head teachers, educational managers, professional development staff, and teaching and learning support staff and plays a key role in the professional development and networking of VET practitioners.

The event will be held at The Australian Technology Park on Friday 10 August, commencing at 9:30 am.

There will be opportunities for discussions and engaging with presenters at the cutting-edge of new practice. Concurrent sessions will explore: VET teaching and learning in action; emerging practice in recognition of prior learning, learning and assessment in the workplace; industry partnerships and entrepreneurship; national and international perspectives on VET practice.

Join 500 TAFE practitioners from across NSW for a day of innovation and inspiration. Attendees from last year’s conference still speak of the energetic atmosphere and the wide choice of learning opportunities.
