Be inspired by the journey of a group of women who, brought together by breast cancer, achieved the incredible feat of building a 12 metre long Dragon Boat.
The project to build the boat involved three TAFE Institutes and an astounding mix of regional and international industries and organisations.
This story is truly inspirational and demonstrates how an innovative engagement with communities, organisations and industries can bring about significant positive growth in mind, body and spirit. Not to mention the finest 12m long Dragon Boat in the country!
You will be encouraged, warmed and motivated by this incredible story!

The digital age has produced a great array of new opportunities for integration of information for course delivery, and the need to manage and arrange this new information.
The challenge is not only to obtain information from conventional and new sources, but also to make it accessible for a range of learning contexts and students.
The Architectural Technology Curriculum Resources project aims to provide easily accessible resources by a web based structure that is PC and Mac compatible. It has two parts:
The content includes text, graphics, video and web link resources, which gives the possibility for ease of updating and expanding, as the scope of available resources increases.
Examples of student work which include drawings, project documents, animations and renderings, are shown on both sites.

Learning at work has great potential: learning from workplace knowledge systems, from work or profession-based communities of practice and from up-to-the-minute systems and approaches. However, there are many factors limiting what’s possible.
Pushing the limits and exploiting the potential presents many challenges for the VET practitioner faced with assessing (and trying to influence) workplace and management support for learning.
Take part in this conversation about how to make the most of the workplace's learning potential.
