Reframing the Future is the national staff development and change management program underpinning the implementation of the national training system in Australia. It provides a professional learning framework for educational change, staff learning and organisational capacity building in vocational education and training.

Reframing the Future provides dollar-for-dollar funding for organisations undertaking workbased learning staff development projects of up to $25,000 per project. Funding details are available from the website.

A wide range of publications can be downloaded or ordered from the Reframing the Future website, including the Publications CD - a compilation of all Reframing the Future publications.

This research compared the workbased learning methodology used in Reframing the Future projects since 1997 with new and emerging theories about organisational learning and communities of practice and refinement to theories about adult learning.

This independent report on an evaluation, conducted by Dench, McClean, Carlson for ANTA, found that Reframing the Future is widely acknowledged as successful in pursuing its mission and, for the relatively low levels of funding available to it, has produced very valuable outcomes.
